BCIT Comp 3906 – iPhone App Dev – Final Presentation Night

December 16, 2010

We had the pleasure of having Scott Michaels from Atimi software attend our final presentation night this past Thursday. Scott really enjoyed this terms presentations and was very pleased with the quality of the projects.

I think this semester produced some of the best projects since we put the course together over a year and a half ago.  Good job Comp 3906 students!

Keep practicing and have a safe and happy holiday!

Industry Announcement – Unity iPhone 1.5 Ships

August 25, 2009

We’ll be focusing on building apps in Comp 3906, but as some of you know, I build games and apps for kids for a living for mobile devices like the iPhone and online environments. We’ve been developing with an amazing tool called Unity 3D for over two years now at our game studio and I thought some of you might be interested to know that it can be used to make high end 3D games for the iPhone. In addition to being the most popular 3D game engine for the iPhone, it has the slickest pipeline we’ve ever seen and even EA is using Unity to make online 3D games. For those of you who are interested check out for details. Look forward to seeing you all this fall!

Hi just a quick note that I’m moving things over from comp3906 to iphonedev3906 on twitter.

Sorry for any inconvenience, but I think new new address is a much better location for BCIT’s new iPhone development course Comp 3906. I’ll be working hard over the coming weeks getting ready and if you can help out an any way by spreading word about the course, I’d greatly appreciate it!
